“When you take charge of your life, there is no longer need to ask permission of other people or society at large. When you ask permission, you give someone veto power over your life.”- Abert F. Geoffrey
We need to take charge of our lives. There are times when we are faced with so much problems that we feel helpless and give up. We have to take responsibility first. Only when we take
RESPONSIBILITY for our life, we can have the freedom to whatever we love doing in our lives. There were times where I've just lost my cool and wanted to run away from my problems. However, I later realized that the problems were chasing me wherever I went. So I made a firm decision to face my problems and solve them one by one. Thus, it left me contented and happy and the same time helped me gain confidence in my ability to handle any problems in life.
When we accept complete responsibility for our lives, we take the giant step from childhood to adulthood. Sadly enough, most people don't do this. There are many people I have known who keep whining and complaining about their earlier unhappy experiences and still keep blaming their problems on other people and circumstances. They are still angry about something about the past and cannot let go of it. These kind of people are trapped in the past and they can't get free.
I've learned that we need to believe in ourselves and in our abilities inorder to live a life that we deserve. God has created us and has gifted us with unique talents. Now it is upto us to make use of these unique talents. So have you discovered today what is your talent? What is it that you can do that no one on this planet can do? How does this unique talent differentiate you from others?
Take time out to reflect on these questions. Take a notepad and scribble the first three things that come to your mind once you ask these questions to yourself. Believe me you have the answers locked up within yourself and you don't even realize it.
From this moment forward, see yourself as being self-employed. See yourself as being in complete charge of every part of your life and career. You indeed are very much the creator of your own destiny. Life is truly 10% of what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it.
